Increased knowledge of the fish and the production process provides increased profitability, the opportunity to optimize operations, a more sustainable industry and greater competitiveness.

Data collection, combined with human expertise, is used to achieve more precise feeding, and to understand the complex relationships from smolts to ready-to-slaughter fish.

Machine learning makes it possible to automate the process of extracting information from large amounts of data. By using continuous automatic monitoring of the fish, we ensure better fish welfare by being able to implement measures that are detected by the monitoring. Automatic monitoring of fish will thus be able to provide a more sustainable industry.

Skala Maskon has developed a service that secures and compiles the data base. Over time, this will provide historical data and create a better understanding of what affects the fish.
